Japanese roleplaying game set in the Zoids universe. Players explore vast 2D environment seen from a 3/4 overhead view. Players take on the role of 12-year-old Artory, the son of the king of Arcadia. Betrayal and political intrigue soon make sure that the kingdom comes under attack - and it's of course up to Artory to set out and show his worth as heir to the throne. But instead of fighting yourself, you commandeer oversized mechs that come in a variety of shapes (many inspired by animals) called Zoids. When battling, the game shifts to a side view perspective, showing the gigantic battle machines in their full glory. The game features more than 100 different Zoid types in several variations. Based on the Japanese toy/model kit series. Only released in Japan.
