A direct sequel to John Carpenter's 1982 horror film of the same name, The Thing allows players to take the role of a search and rescue specialist who's been sent to solve the mysteries that the movie left behind. Developed by the internal team at Computer Artworks, the game utilizes a gameplay mechanic never before used in the genre - a trust and fear interface that enables players to monitor the psychological states of NPCS who may actually be The Thing itself.
